What We're All About
Our Nonprofit the Responsible Jewelry Transformative

Together we create new ideas
The purpose of the conference is to foster connection, collaboration, partnerships, and passion. Many new initiatives have their beginning at the conference. The conference brings like-minded groups together and provides a space for face to face conversation. Often people are meeting in person for the first time and learning about each other's work.
After each conference, one thing is clear: The passion of attendees and speakers is paramount. Solving problems in the jewelry industry takes commitment, flexibility, ingenuity, and heart above all else. It is with no surprise that given the opportunity the conference affords, this group comes up with some of the best ideas and practical ways of implementing long term solutions that uphold our core belief: that everyone in the jewelry supply chain is equal.

Ongoing projects and solutions
Conference founder, Susan Wheeler, is no exception and has involved herself in many projects resulting from direct conversations and networking at the conference. These projects needed a structural home, separate but related to the work of the conference, hence the creation of The Responsible Jewelry Transformative nonprofit.
The 2023 Chicago Responsible Jewelry Conference is coming August 11-12. You don't want to miss this.
