Laura Galvis, is the Market Development Officer for the Alliance for Responsible Mining (ARM) and Fairmined, leading strategies to bring more responsible gold to international markets such as, the Fairmined 100 challenge and the Fairmined Virtual Edit.

She has a double major in Business Administration and Design, and is an Applied Jewelry Professional(AJP) from the Gemological Institute of America. With a background in the tech industries, marketing and sales, and designer of her own fashion jewelry brand in Colombia, Laura is passionate about jewelry and artisanal heritage, a unique set of experiences and interests that allow her to approach the market strategies for artisanal and small-scale mining with a creative, emphatic and fresh point of view.
