Sejal Karavadia is the Director, Procurement and Vendor Management at Brilliant Earth. With over 25 years of experience in Gem and Jewelry industry, Sejal utilizes her expertise to drive forward Brilliant Earth’s Mission of sourcing ethically mined gemstones and diamonds. Brilliant Earth’s goal is to cultivate a more transparent, sustainable, compassionate and inclusive jewelry industry. Under Sejal, Brilliant Earth has formed long term relationships with partners who are passionate about their products and can demonstrate traceability in their supply chains. Sejal is a Graduate Gemologist and has worked in several different areas in the gem and jewelry industry. She has trained and worked in the diamond bourse in India and gained valuable insight from her experience there. Besides her experience in buying, Sejal has also worked in compliance and has in depth knowledge of the diamond and gem pipelines – from Mine to Market. Her vision is to be a part of an industry that is both transparent and equitable for all involved. She is fluent in English as well as 3 Indian languages – Hindi, Gujrati and Marathi. She is currently getting ready to send her only daughter to college.
